During today’s Nintendo Direct video, Satoru Iwata showed off a trailer with gameplay footage of Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Wii U. While Mario Kart 7 introduced flying and underwater driving into the mix, Mario Kart 8 will bring anti-gravity driving. The trailer shows various characters riding along walls and even upside down, which is sure to confuse the hell out of you and your friends. Although the trailer did not show off many of the items that will be used, hopefully Nintendo has been working on balancing the items even further. We will keep you updated when more details arrive, as well as the release date.
