[News] Star Wars: The Old Republic to Get Spring 2013 Expansion

Are you one of those people moping through the Star Wars: The Old Republic universe, aching for a new challenge? Well, help is on the way. TOR will be releasing a new expansion called The Rise of the Hutt Cartel in Spring 2013. Few specific details are available at this time about the new content, but it couldn’t come at a better time due to the lagging support for BioWare’s massive and risky MMO.

While TOR has been free-to-play for just over a month now (albeit with options to pay for unrestricted content), there is a price tag associated with this expansion. It will cost $9.99 for subscribers and $19.99 for F2P players. If nothing else, the announcement of The Rise of the Hutt Cartel is a nice way of reminding people that TOR is still kicking around, especially heading into a bunch of free time over the holidays.
