Muramasa: The Demon Blade is one of my favorite titles ever to have come out for the Wii. The art style was of course beautiful and it was a joy to play despite some odd control options.
At TGS this year, it was announced that Muramasa would be coming out for the Vita and with it yet another reason for me to consider maybe getting the system. More than just an updated HD port however, it seems that the Vita version will be coming with an additional DLC scenario tentatively titled “The Bizarre Genroku Tale”.
Additionally, a Japanese game blog is claiming that four new characters will be playable on the new handheld version. These details are based on reports at the moment as scans of the new Famitsu (Where the characters and DLC are revealed) have yet to surface.
I’m seriously hoping that this updated version of the game comes to the states despite the lackluster sales of the Wii version. At this point Sony has nothing to lose and publishers Marvelous AQL are always trying their best to bring Japanese titles stateside.
As always we thank Siliconera for the news.
