[News] Devolver Digital Looking for Indie Developers to Get Serious

Earlier today, Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker announced they were going to do something special at GDC.  They were going to get a bus.

On their bus however serious business will be had.  The publisher is tasking any developers that are going to be in San Fransisco during GDC for game pitches, demos and prototypes.  Devolver Digital will then fund their hand selected projects to completion.

Earlier this year the publisher reached out to various developers to create the Serious Sam Indie Series.  These developers in turn made some very interesting takes on the Serious Sam universe with Kamikaze Attack, the Random Encounter and Double D.  All three of which happen to be on in an Indie Royale bundle right now.  The Serious Sam Indie Series really did make for one of the best marketing pushes from a Indie publisher that I’ve seen in quite a while.

For those developers out there that can’t catch the bus in San Francisco, they will be in Austin, TX for South By Southwest.  Catch a few bands and potentially get a job.
