20 Pieces of Video Game Gear We’d Want to Have in Real Life (To Rule Over Humanity With)

Lock and load.

Yes, it may just be a giant robot when you get right down to it, but as far as game weapons go, it’s definitely not like the others. With Titanfall 2, the mechanical beings have six different classes that you can choose from. One can grab bullets and rockets in midair and throw them back, another has a giant-ass sword. Some of them can even run on walls alongside you! Who wouldn’t want that?

The long sought after rocket launcher in Bungie’s shared world shooter is nothing short of awesome. Not only does it have an ever-reliable lock-on, but it can also split into clusters when they’re detonated for extra damage.

There’s no weapon more iconic for the Kingdom Hearts series than that Keyblade. Does it look ridiculous? Totally. But is it still awesome to swing around? Hell to the yes. It’s so awesome that it’s also a Key AND a Sword! It unlocks people’s deaths!

The long sought after rocket launcher in Bungie’s shared world shooter is nothing short of awesome. Not only does it have an ever reliable lock-on, but it can also split into clusters when they’re detonated for extra damage. No wonder it keeps coming back year after year. The Elites are some of the best enemies to fight in Halo, and that means that they need weapons worthy of their status. The Energy Sword is such a weapon, enabling some of the most satisfying kills in both single and multiplayer if you’ve got it in your hands. If you’re on the receiving end, well…hope you’ve got a plasma grenade or shotgun on hand.

There aren’t quite as many diverse game weapons as Ratchet and Clank’s, with some of the best of them being the RYNO. In that universe, it’s the equivalent of a tactical nuclear strike, whether that means turning your enemies to ash like in Up Your Arsenal or the 2016 remake playing a version of the 1812 Overture as you hold the trigger.
