Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional – February 9 Square Enix Games

This Nintendo 3DS title is currently set to release in the West on February 9 and is the final entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series. This title features hundreds of different monsters that players can both ride and fight in battle.


Dragon Quest Heroes I & II – Square Enix Games

Originally released back in 2015 and 2016, Dragon Quest Heroes I & II will be released a compilation for players to enjoy. Set to be a release title for Nintendo’s Switch, action RPG series received critical praise from both fans and publications alike. This compilation will include all of the DLC for both games.


I Am Setsuna – Square Enix Games

Another Switch release title, this JPRG is being brought over to the Switch and is a wonderful tale with simply gorgeous art direction. There is no word if I Am Setsuna will include new DLC content for players.

NieR: Automata is a complex beat em’ up title by Platinum Games seeks to deliver insane combat mixed with a unique art style that’s full of rusty robots.


Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 Remix – March 28 Square Enix Games

This massive collection not only includes the updated versions of both the first and second game, but a plethora of other titles in the series. If you are looking to jump into the world of Kingdom Hearts before the third entry, this is the place to start.


Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood – June 20 Square Enix Games

For those looking to dive back into Final Fantasy XIV, the second expansion for this MMO is set to release on both PC and PS4 worldwide.


Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age – July 13 Square Enix Games

Originally released back in 2006, this title received praise from both fans and critics thanks to its wonderful soundtrack and gameplay mechanics. This remastering is set to release only on the PlayStation 4.


Final Fantasy VII – Quarter 4 Square Enix

The remake for one of the most beloved RPGs of all time is set to finally release sometime this winter. However, given so much of the product has been shrouded in mystery it’s more than possible that this title is delayed.


Forgotten Anne – 2017 Square Enix

This 2D adventure game is being developed by Throughline Games and features a fantastic art style to compliment its gameplay. Forgotten Anne is set to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.


Dragon Quest XI – 2017

The next entry in this long running RPG series will be full of new worlds to explore, monsters to slay, and will stick to turn based combat. No solid release date has been revealed yet for Dragon Quest XI, but it will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS, Switch, and PlayStation 4.
