A Reddit post from site creator u/TheC0der has shown off a new way to monitor how you play competitive Overwatch. With some fancy coding work, the project allows you to enter your gamertag and see what your SR would be for every separate Overwatch hero you play in a season.

Taking into account factors like your eliminations, healing done, positioning, damage done/blocked, and other numerous stats, you can see what level you play at for each character you use during competitive Overwatch. The site is titled OASIS, and is described as an Overwatch AI skill improvement simulator.

Clicking on each character will also bring up ways for you to improve based on in-game stats, as well as ways in which you excel compared to other players at your level. The creator is also working on an app that can run along Overwatch on PC as seen above, which could not only tell you your strengths and weaknesses for each player as you play, but suggest what player you should play at a given moment given your skill, your teammates skills, the map, and your team composition.

It’s said the in-game app should be available soon, and is being created through the use of software platform Overwolf that allows developers to create extensions for video games.

An app like this could also be implemented into the Overwatch League for some interesting uses, whether it be recruiting new members to a team based on their hero skills or practicing against specific AI teams to make sure you are prepared against any enemy strategy. It was even noticed by Blizzard itself, as company Social Media Manager Griffin Bennett, or u/Blizz_Griffin on Reddit, was impressed with the project, commenting on the Reddit post “This is very cool stuff. Well done!”

The site currently has 250,000 usernames and growing, so make sure to check in on your stats and see which heroes you are best at. For more info on the project as it progresses, you can join the OASIS Overwatch Discord or donate to TheC0der’s Patreon to get updates as well.

XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD FREE GAMES PREDICTIONS FOR MARCH 2018

Metal Gear Solid V, , best, highest, scored, reviewed, games, Xbox One

Every month, those who are subscribed to Microsoft’s online services are also gifted a few free games via their Games with Gold program. Usually a few larger games make the list, often coming from a AAA studio or at least being a well-known and well-received title.

For the upcoming month of March 2018, we suspect Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain might make a great addition for one big reason. Sony made fans very happy a few months ago when it added an extremely popular and well-known AAA title to its PS Plus list, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, in October 2017. With games of that caliber being released on PS Plus, it might be smart for Microsoft to put critical comparisons of its own program to rest by offering the same game in order to please their own members. As well, Metal Gear Solid V is a fantastic game that released back in 2015 to immense praise, and it’s been long enough since its release that it’s possible for it to be included for free in programs like PS Plus or Games with Gold.

Another likely candidate could be Mad Max developed by Avalanche Studios in 2015. The game is already included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription, wherein you paid a monthly fee of $9.99 and get unlimited access to over a hundred titles on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Since it is already available “for free” on a different program for Microsoft, it’s not hard to see it also being included in the Games with Gold subscription to make Mad Max fans happy who might not have decided the Game Pass is for them.

Check out page two were we look at the possible indie inclusion for Games with Gold in March 2018.

THE BIG GAME

PS PLUS FREE GAMES FOR MARCH 2018

the order: 1886

Every month, subscribers to Sony’s PlayStation Plus program are granted access to online multiplayer as well as a few free games that can only be downloaded during that specific month free of charge.

Usually one larger game, often from a AAA studio, headlines the list to both entice players to join and please those who have. Currently for February 2018 both Knack and Rime were placed on PS Plus, both larger and more well-known titles that made numerous Sony fans pretty happy.

This month, we suspect 2015 steampunk action-adventure title The Order: 1886 from Ready at Dawn will be that larger title for PS Plus March 2018. Since it was first released The Order: 1886 got some pretty weak reviews from game publications, but did receive some praise for its filmic presentation and interesting re-imagining of a steampunk London.Β  Since then it has dropped in price to below $20 but sometimes as low as $5 during certain sales. At that price, it’s not hard to imagine it making it to PS Plus, if not next month then sometime pretty soon. It also wasn’t included in the Black Friday sale a few months back, meaning Sony might have some plans for it in the long run as well.

The Order: 1886 was a game that probably went under the radar for quite a few players in 2015, so it would be a nice one to have on standby via PS Plus in case there was every an afternoon you were willing to try it out. It’s quite short after-all, with the total length of the game coming out to around 7-8 hours.

Check out page two where we look at a few possible indie inclusions you could see in March 2018.

5 Best Dating Games If You’re Sick of Tinder

PS4 JRPGs, best JRPGs ps4

Maintaining and fostering relationships is a core element in Persona 5’s gameplay, with closer bonds allowing you to craft stronger Personas and gain new abilities to use in battle. Some, like Morgana and Igor, level up on their own, while others have to be spurned on by the player themselves having you choose which people you want to dedicate your time to in various hangouts, study sessions, and even dates.

Unlike other previous entries in the Persona series, in Persona 5, you are only able to date women, and there are nine to choose from. Some are fellow high school students who might even join you and the Phantom Thieves in changing the hearts of corrupt adults, while others are adult women, happy date a charming highschool student.

Choosing who to date and following through by investing your time in the relationship is both satisfying and fun. Some are easier to pursue, say for example Ann who only requires your kindness to be at level 2 to fully max out her social link, while others like Makoto require more personal effort with a level three knowledge to even begin rank one of your relationship and max charm to get past rank six.

On top of it all, the characters in Persona 5 are engaging, unique, and memorable, with various differing opinions on who is actually the best romance option to pursue (hint: it’s totally Makoto). You can even try and romance more than one girl at a time, but be warned, you might stumble into a bit of trouble when a certain romantic holiday comes up.

Los Angeles Valiant got two wins this week, the most important being against Seoul Dynasty where they went 4-0 to beat the once number one placed team on the leaderboard.

The standout player during that crucial match was Fate on his signature character Winston, who, from the first map in Eichenwalde, was putting in tremendous work at initiating the enemy effectively with his team to win consecutive team fights with minimal loss to his own team. His skill is rooted in his ability to play Winston numerous different ways, from backline and protecting the healers to full on aggressive, dealing consistent damage to the enemy DPS line.

During the Thursday match against Seoul, he put up some great defensive and offensive numbers with 43,000 damage blocked alongside 30,000 damage dealt. In total, he had 105 eliminations during the match, with 12 of them coming from the use of his Primal Rage.

The wins Los Angeles Valiant netted this week sees them hit the forth spot in the standings, coming close to competing in the stage one playoffs for $125,000.

MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD

Monster Hunter World

The highly anticipated Monster Hunter: World finally released to console users in January, offering a story mode continuing through the high rank quests for the first time in the series’ history. As an elite hunter, you traverse various locales to trap or kill monsters to loot their bodies and make your armor and weapons even stronger for the next inevitable monster fight.

Monster Hunter: World also allows you to play with other random players and your friends alike to help take down monsters. Going to the gathering hub will allow you to make squads, post quests, and join others in their servers so you can fight one monster simultaneously together. The more people that join a fight, the harder the monster will become to take down.

Multiplayer servers can support up to 16 players, with quests having four people available to go at a time. If only two players go out together, their Palico cat buddies can come along to the fight as well. More than two and just the hunters will fight together.

Monster Hunter: World released for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 26, and is coming to PC users at a later time in 2018.

PROFIT – LONDON SPITFIRE – TRACER

profit, tracer, overwatch, overwatch league, owl 2018

Profit of the London Spitfire team played fantastically as Tracer this week, helping secure a win against not only the Shanghai Dragons but the once League leaders Seoul Dynasty as well. After the wins this week, London Spitfire is now at the top of the standings with seven wins against only one loss.

Profit is definitely one to thank for the success of London Spitfire this week. On Saturday against the Dragons he got a total of 39 eliminations as Tracer against just seven deaths, but the most impressive stat was his percentage of pulse bomb attachment at a whopping 50%. Just see below how he uses some sneaky methods to go behind the choke and land a double kill on the enemy McCree and Zenyatta.

Profit got player of the game on Saturday, with credit to his ability to interject himself into the enemy line and get picks while successfully escaping back to his team afterwards. Profit has some of the best technical skills in the Overwatch League, and will be one to watch as London Spitfire attempts to hold the crowns as the season progresses.

Audience members can sure get creative in the Overwatch League, with handmade signs filling almost every game so far.

One fan of the voice of Roadhog brought along a huge cutout of Josh Petersdorf’s head, a pretty happy looking Josh Petersdorf head one might add.

With all the hub bub about the rise and fall of Mercy with the seemingly endless buffs and nerfs the last few months, some audience goers felt it necessary to share their opinions via signs. Some read delete Mercy, buff Mercy, and as see here, nerf her yet again apparently.

This is how Widowmaker must look whenever Fleta plays her in a league game.

The enthusiastic punch kid has become a meme pretty much since he was seen in the announcement trailer for Overwatch at Blizzcon a few years ago, it would seem wrong to not see him in at least one sign at Overwatch League sign now.

This golden Junkrat trap “Triggered” sign stole the show during this particular round table discussion at the end of a match.

An adorable handmade drawing of everyone’s (and Bastion’s) favorite bird, Ganymede.

This guy knows the right way to be a fan when you’re still not sure which team is the good one yet.

Shoutout to the guy who lost his Outlaws jersey to an ex and still made his way to the front row of an Outlaws match. The sign reads “My ex still has my Outlaws jersey so I made this sign to show support.”

It seems the whole front row was enjoying this massive head of Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan. When it wasn’t peeking it’s head over the shoulders of announcers, it was getting its nose picked by other audience members.

This sign shows the desperation of every Symmetra main to finally see their precious support character played in a match. Maybe one day.

After those top 10, here is a bonus stuffed seagull one Dallas Fuel fan brought to a match and sat on the announcers shoulders to show support for Seagull himself.

LiNkzr – HOUSTON OUTLAWS – WIDOWMAKER

LiNkzr, widowmaker, houston outlaws, overwatch league

LiNkzr was a huge standout this week both during the Thursday game against Floirida Mayhem when Houston Outlaws went 4-0 and on Saturday when they won 4-0 against Los Angeles Gladiators.

On Thursday, LiNkzr got Player of the Match for his amazing skills as Widowmaker, landing headshot after headshot and ending the match with 50 eliminations as the hero against only 7 deaths and nearly 18,000 damage. Seen below in the final fight on Thursday, he finishes off three enemies including an amazing predictive shot on a flanking Tracer to save the point.

On Saturday he kept up the heat, getting Player of the Day alongside Striker from Boston Uprising by landing even more key shots as Widowmaker. Another highlight seen below shows him finishing off a Pharmercy and Tracer all in just a few seconds.

LiNkzr also stood out in his high performance abilities of many different heroes, including Genji. On Saturday especially he had some massive plays as the cyborg ninja, like a perfect mid-air deflection on the enemy Widow to wrap up a double-kill.

If LiNkzr continues to play like he did this week, he is definitely proving himself to be someone to watch out for.

The month of February is almost upon us, and with it some new releases for the three major VR platforms Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PSVR.

Some releases to look for include the mystery thriller Mike was Cursed coming to Oculus Rift near the end of the month. Set in a small Canadian town, numerous people start going missing with no explanation. One husband returns from a business trip and realizes his wife is nowhere to be found, and it’s up to you to explore you surroundings and hopefully find her before it’s too late. A once cozy house soon becomes cold and unwelcoming, ensuring a spooky time for those who love a little scare in their VR experiences.

Another promising title is Pop Up Pilgrims for PSVR releasing on Feb. 13 from developer Dakko Dakko. In this game you have a 3D view of various 2D platforming levels, and the goal is to guide a series of pilgrims across the layers to their destination. Pop Up Pilgrims is intriguing in how it works with new ways to view 2D titles in a VR format, and combining that with colorful and retro-styled assets it looks like a fun one to try out.

Check out the list down below for all the VR games releasing this month of February 2018, as well as some set to release sometime this month with no set date yet at the time of writing.

DANTEH – SAN FRANCISCO SHOCK – TRACER

danteh, overwatch, overwatch league, owl

San Francisco Shock played the very first and the very last matches of the second week in stage one of the Overwatch League, losing the first 1-2 against Philadelphia Fusion and winning the last 3-2 against Boston Uprising.

One standout player from the San Francisco Shock team is Danteh, who had some amazing plays with his signature hero Tracer while also nabbing Player of the Match on Saturday with a whopping 84 eliminations, nearly 43,000 damage done, and 39% pulse bomb attachment rate.

The fact that Danteh’s pulse bomb attachment rate is so high means he is getting some crucial picks that can sway most team fights in their favor. Danteh also had some great plays as Junkrat, especially on Saturday. You can see some highlight clips for his Junkat, Tracer, and even Genji plays down below.

Currently, San Francisco Shock is around the middle of the overall standings at the end of week two of the Overwatch League with two wins and two losses. If Danteh is able to keep up his DPS numbers at the rate he has been doing this week, we could see the Shock move up a bit more to challenge Valiant, Outlaws, and Spitfire for a higher spot overall.

THE BIG GAMES

XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD PREDICTIONS FOR FEBRUARY 2018

Resident Evil 7

Every month, those who subscribe to Microsoft’s online services on Xbox One and Xbox 360 are gifted a few free games under the Games with Gold program. Usually, a couple larger or well-known games from bigger studios make that list, and we have a few predictions as to what those might be for February 2018.

The first guess is 2014 stealth/horror title Alien: Isolation from Creative Assembly. Set within the same universe as the horror Alien movie series, the game takes place 15 years after the first 1979 Alien film. You play as Amanda Ripley, daughter to film protagonist Ellen Ripley, as you investigate her disappearance while avoiding a single alien monster within a massive space station.

Alien: Isolation has been on sale numerous times since its release in 2014, and it’s honestly surprising it hasn’t be used with Games with Gold thus far due to its initial popularity back when it released and the four years it’s been on the marketplace since then. Furthermore, the game is currently free for Xbox 360 owners for an unspecified time, so it shouldn’t be too hard for Microsoft to consider offering it for free on Xbox One as well.

Another likely candidate is South Park: The Stick of Truth, the first installment in the South Park RPG series followed more recently by South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Currently, The Stick of Truth is included free in a bundle along with The Fractured But Whole if you buy it digitally through the Xbox Marketplace. By offering the first game for free with Xbox Games with Gold, despite it already being free if you buy the sequel, this would help players who are hesitant buying the second game but who still want to give the first one a try.

Check out page two where we look at a couple possible indie inclusions for next month.

PS PLUS FREE GAMES FOR FEBRUARY 2018

ratchet and clank, netflix

Every month, subscribers to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service also are gifted a few free games along with access to online services. Usually there is one bigger game headlining the list, and this month we think we’ll see the 2016 remaster of Ratchet & Clank.

It’s always nice when a PlayStation exclusive is offered for free, and with Ratchet & Clank being such a favorite for PS fans it would be a huge fan service to offer it for free.

Just last month, Asia PS Plus subscribers got Ratchet & Clank, but the offer never came to the west. Since it’s already been offered in one way on PS Plus, then it makes sense it will come to North America, if not next month then sometime very soon. Especially since the west got PSVR title Until Dawn: Rush of Blood in November 2017 and Asia got it a month later alongside Ratchet & Clank.

SHAZ – LOS ANGELES GLADIATORS – ZENYATTA

Shaz absolutely dominated on Zenyatta during one of the first matches on Wednesday against Shanghai Dragons.

What really catches the eye with Shaz’s playstyle is just how aggressive he is while using Zenyatta, one his signature characters. Notably, too, during the second of Temple of Anubis, he managed to deftly balance healing and throwing out even more DPS firepower than anyone else on the map. While most players struggle to get that Rapid Discord trophy, Shaz makes it seem like a breeze just with his normal gameplay.

Shaz is also amazing at staying alive despite using one of the squishiest characters in the game, therefore making the most use out of his discord orbs and making mincemeat of the opposing team. During the last match on Illios against Shanghai, he got player of the match with 21 eliminations, 18 offensive assists, and over 5600 healing done despite only dying five times in total.

With his pro use of the discord orbs, the amazing accuracy with Zenyatta, and the incredible manner in which he maintains high healing numbers, Shaz was a blast to watch.

REWARD PLAYERS FOR WATCHING THE MATCHES

Although a majority of Overwatch fans will likely watch the matches through Twitch, which has a 2-year streaming rights contract for the league, you can also watch the games through your copy of Overwatch itself on PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Whenever a game is live you can click on a “Watch Now” button on the game’s Overwatch League menu and live stream it right through your console or PC.

Since this is something Blizzard is able to monitor, it would be amazing if those who watched the matches on Overwatch itself could be rewarded for showing interest in the league by putting in the time to watch the games. The league skins each cost 100 League Tokens that can obtained through purchasing them with real currency. Imagine if every time you streamed an entire match through Overwatch you got a certain amount of coins to then use to buy skins to support your favorite teams? Not only does it reward players for their dedication to the league, it will likely increase team followings and league support in general.

Each of the 12 teams has a specific color scheme for their skins, and if you have been on Overwatch since the start of the season on Jan. 10 you’ll already see a ton of players repping their favorite teams. If you’re thinking about what skins to spend your free 100 tokens on, check out our breakdown on the 25 best skins to get before the event ends.

Below you will find a series of posts showing off the years of fun Nintendo fans had on the Miiverse, a social network for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, created by Nintendo System Development and Hatena, and powered by the Nintendo Network. It was discontinued on November 7, 2017. Integrated into every game, Miiverse allowed players to interact and share their experiences through their own Miis by way of drawings, text, screenshots, and sometimes game videos. It was available via any web browser, with planned apps for tablets and smartphones. Miiverse is not available on the Nintendo Switch.

Miiverse was announced on June 3, 2012 during a pre-E3 Nintendo Direct event; the service initially launched on the Wii U on November 18, 2012 and was later made available for the Nintendo 3DS on December 9, 2013. A web-based portal was opened on April 25, 2013.

Few can match this masterful art piece, even if it is sideways.

Splatoon can be fun, but this table turned into a bit of a bummer when these two Miiverse posters sat next to each other.

Sure the WiiU sold horribly, but if you consider this logic is should be the best selling console of all time.

Sometimes some pretty deep shower thoughts can make their way to the Miiverse.

Sure yeahs and likes seem similar in their utilization, but Miiverse users will let you know the difference.

It’s always crazy what Nintendo fans can create with the limited resources available to them, like this awesome drawing of Mario painting a few objects one could find around the Mario Bros. universe.

This drawing of Ganon is so detailed you would think it was made on Photoshop and not Miiverse.

When popular actor Robin Williams passed away, this amazing tribute post was done in his honor. Williams was known to be a huge fan of Nintendo, and even named his own daughter Zelda after the franchise.

As a thank you from Nintendo to all those who used the Miiverse during its hay day, a huge mosaic was made using smaller Miiverse posts. The Miiverse service ended officially in November 2017, but you can still check out the thank you mosaic (and zoom in to see all its components) here.

On August 29th, 2017, Nintendo announced its intentions to shut down its Wii U and 3DS social network, Miiverse. They gave users two months to get their posts, their drawings, and their screenshots copied from the site. Also, if requested, they offered an archive of a their content to be received after the shutdown. However, they did not include replies (both on their posts and comments made on other users posts).

After Miiverse service has ended, an e-mail notification that includes the URL to download your post history will be sent to the e-mail address registered to your Nintendo Account. Please note this e-mail will not be sent to the e-mail address registered to your Nintendo Network ID. It may take a few weeks after Miiverse service has ended to receive the e-mail with your downloadable post history. Please be patient.

Along with controversially nerfing Mercy yet again, the latest patch currently in testing on the Overwatch PTR has some fun new Mercy updates that few should find issue with.

While getting resurrected, friendly players now have a series of voice lines that are triggered by a successful use of Mercy’s ability. These friendly voice lines used to be in the game for a short period last year, however they were removed due to an unacknowledged bug causing them to not function properly in game.

Thanks to Reddit user leapingshadow who tested out resurrecting all the characters on the PTR, down below is a list of all the voice lines for each Overwatch character. Keep in mind there way be more that just haven’t been found yet. For example, in the comment section of the Reddit post leapshadow states they rez’d Widow over and over until she finally said “Ah… GΓ©rard” but it only happened once. It seems Widowmaker might be missing her late husband…that she murdered.

Mercy (Self)

  • This is not your time.
  • Heroes never die.
  • We still need you!
  • Let’s get you back in the fight!
  • This is not the end!
  • The battle continues!

Doomfist

  • I’m not finished.

Genji

  • Arigato, yo.
  • You’ve saved me again, Dr. Ziegler.

McCree

  • Thought I was a goner.
  • I’ve seen the light.
  • You look like you’ve seen a ghost.

Pharah

  • I’m back.
  • I’m not done yet.

Reaper

  • Get, up.
  • Get back in the fight.

Soldier: 76

  • Thanks doc.
  • No sleeping on the job.
  • On your feet, soldier.

Sombra

  • If I’m fighting, you’re fighting too.
  • You’re not getting off that easy.

Tracer

  • Aww, thanks doc!
  • Yeah!
  • Nice save!

Bastion

  • Assortment of beeps and boops.

Hanzo

  • This time I will not fail!

Junkrat

  • Whooh, ho ho, I owe you one.

Mei

  • You’re a life saver!

Torbjorn

  • Back to work!

Widowmaker

  • You must really like me.
  • Get, up.
  • I still have use for you.

D.Va

  • You and me, we’ve got this.
  • One-up!
  • Huge Rez!
  • Come on, fights not over yet!

Orisa

  • System restarting.
  • Systems rebooted.
  • Was that the Iris?

Reinhardt

  • I’m back!

Roadhog

  • Get up!

Winston

  • I’m back.
  • Thanks, Dr. Ziegler.

Zarya

  • A second chance!
  • It is not over yet.
  • Don’t count me out.

Ana

  • Thank you, Angela.
  • Huh, back again.
  • I’m in your debt.

Lucio

  • I’m too young to die.

Mercy (Getting Resurrected)

  • So that’s what it feels like.
  • Now this is a role reversal.
  • We could all use a helping hand sometime.

Moira

  • Curious.

Symmetra

  • A second chance.

Zenyatta

  • I return.

Bastion’s is clearly the best one of the bunch, but maybe Genji’s “arigato, yo” is a close second.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

multiplayer, pubg, playerunknown battlegrounds, aim down sights

The extremely popular online multiplayer game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been available on PC via early access since March 2017, but this month it has not only fully released on PC, but is now available on Xbox One as well.

Selling more than 24 million copies since its early access release, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has found immense popularity with its gameplay that drops 100 players into an enclosed area as they collect weapons and resources while killing other players to be the last one standing. With this formula, the game has become very popular for streaming on platforms like Twitch with the game maintaining a peak concurrent player count of over three million on PC, making it the most played game on PC via Steam.

There is no couch co-op, only online multiplayer as you battle it out to get that glorious end game phrase “winner winner chicken dinner” that so few get to see. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds fully released for PC on Dec. 20 and Xbox One on Dec. 12.

As the holidays pass and we look forward to the new year, some new VR titles are on their way for the three major VR gaming platforms: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PSVR.

Last month in December we saw a some highly anticipated Bethesda games finally make their way to players, with Doom VFR coming to PSVR at the very start of the month on Dec. 1 after releasing for HTC Vive, Fallout VR to the HTC Vive on Dec. 12, and a month prior Skyrim VR came to PSVR on Nov. 17.

This month, one to watch for is a great indie VR title GNOG that is releasing for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive after already dropping for PSVR back in May 2017. It has a colorful art style, interesting puzzles, and a dynamic soundtrack composed by Marskye.

Another bigger title is The Inpatient for PSVR releasing on Jan. 23. Set 60 years prior to the events in horror title Until Dawn, you wake up with amnesia within the Blackwood Sanatorium as you try to figure out what brought you there and why you are being held captive. It was first announced at E3 2017 and like its story predecessor Until Dawn it will be an exclusive to PS4 and PSVR platforms.

Check out the rest of the games releasing this month down below, with those set to drop in January 2018 with no specific release date yet down at the bottom of the list.

THE BIG GAMES

XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD FREE GAMES PREDICTIONS FOR JANUARY 2018

Subscribers of Microsoft’s online service are rewarded with monthly free games for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. With the new year upon us, it’s time to look forward to 2018 and take a guess at what free games will be included in Games with Gold in January before they are officially announced later in the month.

For the beginning of December, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is free from Dec. 1-31, Child of Eden on Xbox 360 was free from Dec. 1-15, and the compete season of Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands was free from Dec. 1-15. For the second half of the month we have Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition from Dec. 15 – Jan 15, and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death from Dec. 16 – 31.

There’s usually a couple larger games headlining the list every month, and for January we believe Dishonored: Definitive Edition is a worthy candidate. The Definitive Edition includes the game and all its later released DLC, with improved graphics for next-gen consoles. It’s pretty surprising Dishonored hasn’t been released to Games with Gold thus far, given the success of its sequel released in November 2016.

Another larger game to consider is the full first season of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series. Both Sony and Microsoft are pretty accustomed to including Telltale seasons in their lineups, with both Tales from the Borderlands and Back to the Future: The Game making the list for November/December as seen above. Telltale’s take on Game of Thrones has yet to make it to Games with Gold yet so we should see it sometime soon.

Next up is out guess at what indie game might be included in the lineup for the new year.
