Yakuza 6 Cat Cafe Guide: Where to Find All Cats

Where to Find All Cats in Yakuza 6

Recommended Videos

One of Yakuza 6’s more unique pieces of side content has you finding stray cats and befriending them, all in order to bring them to the Nyan Nyan Cafe. That’s right, Kiryu has to find cats for a cat cafe. First off, you’ll find the cafe on Senryo Avenue, in the same building as the Mantai Internet Cafe and Modern Mahjong. Just head inside and talk to the owner, and you’ll eventually have started the whole sidequest.

Now finding the actual cats in Yakuza 6 is a bit trickier. There’s a number of cats that Kiryu can run into in Kamurocho and Onomichi, and although they have dedicated spots they’ll appear randomly. While exploring, you’ll hear a cat meow pretty loudly if one is nearby, and a blue dot will appear on your minimap indicating the little kitty. Now you’ll need to interact with the cat and try feeding them different food, to see which one they like and raise their friendship meter all the way up.

It’s pretty hard to get most of the cats all the way full the first time you meet them in Yakuza 6, but don’t worry as the friendship meter will stay the same and they’ll appear randomly again. Each time you meet a cat you’ll have three tries to feed it before it runs off, and you’ll want to make sure you constantly have a stock of all the cat food types. Cat food can be bought at the Nyan Nyan cafe, Don Quijote, or the little bakery place in Onomichi. It’s also super cheap so you shouldn’t have any trouble keeping well-stocked. Without further ado, we’ll go ahead and list every cat you can find in Yakuza 6, as well as what their favorite types of food are.
