Top 5 Best PS4 Games of Q1 2018

shadow of the colossus

The original Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation 2 is considered by some to be one of the greatest, and most important games ever made. So surely, a remaster for the PlayStation 4 would be just as great and important? Yes, yes it is.

Shadow of the Colossus, has been praised by both critics and fans alike, and holds one of the highest Metacritic scores of 2018 so far. We loved it as well, scoring it a 4.5 out of 5 back in January.

For those who have never played the original, the story follows Wander, as he travels across a strange, forbidden land in search of Colossi to defeat. It has a minimalist approach in its storytelling, and like many other Team Ico games, the narrative will slowly unravel in unexpected ways. Of course, because it’s a remake, it has an improved control scheme (huge deal for those that remember the PS2 version) and much better visual quality.

If you somehow missed out the first time on PS2, or just want to revisit an all-time classic, The Shadow of the Colossus remake is great, and among the best PS4 games so far in 2018.
