How to Upgrade Armor in God of War
God of War is the latest entry in the action-adventure series, following Kratos’ story with his son. Players will fight through waves of enemies with an arsenal of powerful weapons at their disposal. You’ll also need to craft the best armor to get through the grueling fights in the game. That being said, some fans might be wondering how they can upgrade armor in God of War.
All you need to do is speak to either Brok or Sindri and choose the Upgrade tab. From there, you’ll be prompted to choose which piece of armor you want to strengthen or upgrade. Keep in mind that you will need to provide the appropriate materials, along with Hacksilver, depending on which armor set you’re going for. Upgraded armor will give Kratos better stats in God of War, and upgrading certain powerful pieces of armor might even give him an extra enhancement socket.
While it might seem tempting to just buy armor, you’ll often get more for your money if you upgrade armor you already have instead. More often than not, these buyable sets have fairly average stats compared to your upgraded equipment. And while upgrading might come off as pricey, you’ll actually be saving more Hacksilver since you aren’t constantly replacing your armor. Of course, this only applies if your current set is only one level below the sets being sold by Brok and Sindri. If the level is any higher than that, it might be worth it to craft a new set altogether.
