Is Frostpunk Coming to Xbox One?

Recommended Videos

Frostpunk has just released on PC, in which players assume the role of the leader of the last city on Earth, and as such, must manage the citizens and infrastructure in order to see it develop and prosper. While management sims like this tend to work best on a PC thanks to the mouse and keyboard input, some fans would likely be willing to deal with the slight inconvenience of using a controller if it meant Frostpunk could be played on Xbox One.

Well, there’s some good news by way of DualShockers. In an interview at PAX East 2018, it was revealed that the studio is “working on the console version at the moment.” Sadly, Senior Marketing Manager for 11 bit studios, Karol Zajaczkowski wasn’t in a position to give a firm release date on Xbox One, but did suggest the game could hit consoles “by the end of the year.”

And there you have it. Good news for Xbox One owners for sure, we’ll just need to wait for Frostpunk’s confirmed console release date now. As soon as we hear anything, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
