Sea of Thieves: How to Return to Ship Fast

How to Return to Ship Fast in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves is an action-adventure multiplayer game developed by Rare. Players will take the role of a pirate and sail the high seas with their friends, looting treasure and fighting fellow freebooters along the way. While you’ll be spending plenty of time on land, you will also be traveling by ship to get around the open world.

That said, one fear players might have is losing track of their ship in the midst of their adventures in Sea of Thieves. There’s nothing worse than finding an island full of loot, only to realize that you’ve forgotten where you docked your Sloop or Galleon. Luckily, there’s actually an easy way to find your vessel without having to keep track of where you left it.

Whenever you find yourself far from your ship or stranded at sea in Sea of Thieves, try searching for a glowing friendly mermaid around the area. Talk to it by pressing X, and it will send you back to your ship. That way, you won’t have to spend hours on end looking for your vessel. However, it’s worth mentioning that you’ll lose any items you’re holding if you use this method.
