For that very reason, making certain that you have saved your progress is going to be pretty key. Thankfully, there are a few ways to save in Ni No Kuni 2.

First, Ni No Kuni 2 auto-saves after you’ve reached important milestones in the story, as well as when you’re about to encounter a difficult battle on the world map. If you’re navigating one of the linear sections of the game or a dungeon, you’ll find glowing blue stone save points conveniently located, which can also be used to replenish your party’s HP and MP. Make sure you stop in and manually save at these locations, as they typically signal an upcoming boss battle.
