Natsume Releases Additional Details About Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition

Natsume’s latest entry in the Harvest Moon series is Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, and it’s getting a special edition in the form of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition, which is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Both versions will get the character Soleil, as well as a new feature in the form of co-op play, with new DLC and a season pass as well as content coming down the pipeline.

A new character known as a Gem Sprite named Soleil will be included in the game, and she’s unfamiliar to the world other than a system of dark caverns that the player can explore. Players can help guide Soleil through and to the wonders of real life beyond the caverns. She can be utilized as a co-op character so you can play with others as she assists with growing crops, minding your livestock, and collecting materials.

Further, if you find yourself smitten with Soleil, you can even marry them — if they develop feelings for your character, they’ll be a human instead of a Gem Sprite. Beyond that, you can nab a new Season Pass for the additional four planned sets of DLC in the game, so look forward to that in the future when the game releases later this year.

As far as the Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition, you’ll get the Season Pass, a tote bag, pin badges, a mug, a barn-shaped case, and a few other goodies as well.
