Building is a vital part of Fortnite Battle Royale. With the game taking over the multiplayer landscape recently, if you’ve spent any substantial period of time with the game, you’re probably used to how you change build material. Now that the game has come to mobile devices, you’ll need to know how to so on your small touch screen. Here’s everything you need to know.
To begin building, you need to press the icon of a hammer and spanner just to the right of your weapons in the middle and to the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the icons for building, with the stairs, walls, and other things replacing the weapons. Just above them, you’ll see the icons for the building materials, with the number you have available just below them. To select the building material you want to use, simply press it. You will now be able to build with that material, making whatever you have selected in the section below.
