Final Fantasy XV: How to Get Armiger Unleashed

Getting Armiger Unleashed in Final Fantasy XV

Recommended Videos

With the release of Final Fantasy XV’s Royal Edition and Windows Edition, there’s a new Armiger Unleashed mechanic introduced in the game. Armiger was in the base game, and it allowed Noctis to enter an overdrive mode after filling up a bar. Armiger Unleashed is essentially an even more powerful version of that.

First off, you’ll need to visit all the tombs in the game to get all 13 Royal Arms for Noctis. These were already available in the base game, and you can check your main menu quickly to see which ones you have and which ones you’re missing. They should all be marked on your map so you can get to them quickly. After you have all 13 Royal Arms, you’ll then need to obtain a new item called the Founder King’s Sigil. This accessory can be found by a statue near the entrance to the Keycatrich Ruins, which is the very first dungeon you explored in the game.

Grab the item, then equip it in Noctis’ accessory slot. From now on, whenever your Armiger bar is full, you can activate Armiger Unleashed to deal even more damage and chain combos.
