How to Change Clothes & Outfits in Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 is a big change for the series, at least in terms of location, bringing things to the shores of the United States for the first time. The game takes place in Hope County, a fictional location in Montana, where a preacher named Joseph Seed has developed a cult-like following.
Location isn’t the only change coming with Far Cry 5, as there are some enhancements coming to gameplay as well. The biggest change comes with your main character, as for the first time you’ll be able to create your own. You can customize your character’s facial appearance and clothing, so you’ll probably want to know how to do so. Unfortunately, you can’t change your facial appearance after the start of the game, however, you can change your clothing and outfit at any time.
To change your clothes open the menu by hitting start/options then use R1/RB button to navigate over to the Character Customization screen. You’ll be able to customize the clothing you’re wearing on your upper body, lower body, headwear, handwear, and your hairstyle. There may not be as much customization as deeper games, like an MMO, but you’ll still be able to make the character feel like your own.
