How to get Legendary Cards in Clash Royale
In the world of Clash Royale, there are few cards that will provide more bang for your buck than legendary cards. From units with an unmatchable range and invincibility perks to spells that can decimate your opponent’s forces, each one can decidedly tilt the odds in your favor. That said, they’re far from easy to obtain, and sticking to some specific strategies for obtaining them can save you a lot of time, money and headaches. Here’s how to get yourself some legendary cards in Clash Royale.
First and foremost, it should be noted that legendary cards can be both bought or found for free in Clash Royale, though investing money into their procurement is the only way to guarantee you end up with a legendary card.
To buy legendary cards, players must have access to Arena 7 and the Legendary King Chests available through its shop. These chests all have a 100 percent chance of a legendary card drop, but will set you back by a set monetary amount for each new chest you wish to open. Likewise, players can also purchase Fortune, King’s and Lightning chests for a chance at legendaries. Purchasing these chests removes the timed restriction on opening chests, but doesn’t improve their odds of a legendary drop.
For Clash Royale players who want to avoid spending money to unlock legendaries, there are a few options. One is to reach Arena 10, or Hog Mountain. At this point in the game, legendary cards appear randomly in the shop for 40,000 gold.
Another is to join an active clan and compete in Clash Royale’s War Day competitions. As players compete with one another through War Day battles, their league ranking go up and their chances to obtain a legendary in their War Chest rewards with it. Better yet, if they reach Legendary first League ranking, there will be a guaranteed legendary in their chest after each War Day.
Aside from these methods, players’ best options come down to luck and persistence. Continuing to compete in matches, competitions and quests all help to drive up a player’s rank, and with it the chance for a legendary drop from chests. Stay strong, and best of luck in the battles ahead.
