World War II is one of the best entries we’ve seen from the Call of Duty franchise in years. The game goes back to the WWII period, where the “boots on the ground gameplay” reigns supreme, instead of having jetpacks that allow players to fly around and wall-ride. While the campaign itself doesn’t support any splitscreen co-op, the multiplayer modes are always a blast to play with friends.
The brand new War mode has players on the Axis and Allied sides battle it out by trying to fulfill specific objectives in order to advance to the next stage. The Nazi Zombies mode is back as well, and that’s always fun.
