The Longest Five Minutes: How Long It Is

How Long is The Longest Five Minutes

Recommended Videos

The Longest Five Minutes doesn’t quite match the typical structure of a JRPG, as you actually start at the end of your adventure. During the final boss battle the hero, Flash Back, forgets everything about his journey. While he recalls memories you play through different parts of the adventure, and these memories basically function as different chapters of the game. Of course, you’re probably wondering how long The Longest Five Minutes is, considering its unique approach to the genre.

There are a total of 39 memories to play through in the game, though the length on these can vary greatly depending on if it’s just a scene or an entire RPG section to play through. Our own playthrough of the game took roughly 11 hours to complete, while trying to do a moderate amount of the side content. Additionally, there are three different endings to the game that can add a little bit of time on as well. Of course, once you’ve beaten the game you can jump back into different memories and replay them. Make sure to switch up your choices, in order to try and get all three endings.
