Dying Light celebrates its three-year anniversary this February, and Techland today released a video to thank fans for their support, and give them an overview of the celebrations kicking off in the game throughout the month.

In the video, Techland highlights the importance of fans’ continued support to help turn Dying Light into an experience far larger than it initially was back when it released in 2015. To thank fans for sticking around for three years, Techland revealed that content drop three would arrive sometime this month, alongside an Undying Love community bounty event, significant in-game discounts, and weekly giveaways.

Most notably, however, was Techland’s quick reveal that it has “lots of Dying Light awesomeness to reveal in 2018.” Exactly what the developer is hinting at here remains to be seen. DLC? A sequel? Xbox One X/ PS4 Pro support? Who knows, but hopefully, it won’t be too long until we find out more.

Dying Light takes your typical zombie apocalypse experience and mixes it up with the inclusion of parkour traversal and a day/ night cycle that greatly affects how you take on missions and generally explore the world.
