Secret of Mana: How to Get the Moogle Belt

How to Get the Moogle Belt in Secret of Mana Remake

Recommended Videos

Square Enix recently remade the beloved JRPG classic Secret of Mana from the ground up for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, adding a whole slew of improvements to the game that make it feel fresh for devoted fans of the series. This being said, it also preserves a lot from the original, going so far as to even include some hard-to-find items like the Moogle Belt.

The Moogle Belt can both cure Moogle status should the wearer have it and inflict it upon enemies that dare to attack your party head-on in Secret of Mana. In case you’re unfamiliar with the ailment itself (as it isn’t something you’ll come across very often), Moogle status causes every attack to miss and restricts your ability to use any magic, making it quite the malady to be reckoned with.

To obtain the Moogle Belt in Secret of Mana, you’ll first need to have already gained the ability to fly. Once you’re able to take to the sky, head over to a tiny island shaped like a turtle’s shell that’s south of the desert of Kakkara. Land safely, then go to the biggest hut in the area and speak to a merchant who whines to you about his business. Despite the pessimistic outlook on life, he’ll give you the Sea Hare’s Tail for free just for listening.

Fly north with Flammie and find a village in the desert you soared over just a few minutes ago. Find an empty pond and speak to King Amar. After a few words, you’ll give him the Sea Hare’s Tail you obtained from the merchant and restore water to the area. In return for the miracle you just produced, the king will give you the Moogle Belt.

That’s all you need to know on how to get the Moogle Belt in Secret of Mana. For more useful information on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
