Rust: How to Get the Frog Boots

Getting the Frog Boots in Rust

Recommended Videos

Rust is currently on Steam Early Access, and it’s a survival game where your primary goal is to, well, try to survive. It’s an online multiplayer game that lets you interact with other players to form alliances or rivalries. The game also features elements like hunger, thirst, and adverse weather effects. You’ll have to rely on scouring the environment for materials to build a shelter and survive for as long as you can.

One of the more prominent items in Rust is the Hazmat Boots, more commonly referred to as the Frog Boots by players. Unfortunately, if you’re hoping to get this cute-looking pair of boots, you’re out of luck. The Frog Boots and the entire Hazmat suit set were removed from the game a few months back because they were considered to be unbalanced and somewhat game-breaking. At the time of writing, it doesn’t look like the developers have any intention of bringing the Frog Boots back either. It’s possible that they could be added back into the game potentially as a cosmetic item in the future, given the fan outcry, but for now, there’s no way to get them.
