PS VR Is Getting a Massive Price Cut for a Limited Time

The PlayStation blog posted yesterday that the standalone PS VR headset price will receive a discount from its normal $299.99 price tag. Between Feb. 18 and March 3, the unit will cost $199.99.

The Doom VFR bundle will also receive a discount from its regular $399.99 price. For $299.99, this bundle includes the PS VR headset, PlayStation Camera, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0, and the disc for Doom VFR. This bundle is great for anyone looking to finally take the plunge into virtual reality.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim bundle will also be discounted. Starting at $349.99, this includes the headset, PlayStation camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0, and Skyrim VR. With the inclusion of the Move controllers, this bundle has everything needed to play a wide variety of games on the platform.

PlayStation recently shared their sales accomplishment of over 2 million VR units, which doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. For those that don’t already know, PS VR has a selection of over 150 games with even more on the way.
