There are two different types of treasure maps you can get your hands on in Kingdom Come Deliverance. As their name suggests, work out the location that they’re trying to hint at, make your way there, and you’ll be rewarded with some neat loot to help fill out your inventory. It’s worth noting, however, that if you want to get all of this sweet treasure buried around the world, you’ll need a shovel (which you get right at the start of the game), and some lockpicks, too.

There are two types of treasure maps in Kingdom Come Deliverance, and depending on the type, you’ll get them in different ways. Ancient treasure maps are only attainable as a pre-order reward. These maps appear in your inventory once you’ve awoken in Rattay, so once you’re there, have a quick look and try and decipher their locations. Then there’re the normal treasure maps in Kingdom Come Deliverance. These can be purchased from traders, but not every single one will have them. Regardless, it’s worth checking a trader’s inventory all the same whenever you spot one, just in case they have a treasure map or something else that may come in handy on your adventure.
