Where to Get Lockpicks in Kingdom Come Deliverance
Kingdom Come Deliverance is an open world RPG grounded in history. It sets players off on a quest for revenge against invading forces in the heart of the Holy Roman Empire. There’s a real emphasis on role playing mechanics meaning it can be difficult in parts, forcing players to utilize every possible skill in order to survive.
One of the most useful skills you can pick up in Kingdom Come Deliverance is lockpicking. Doors and chests can be picked via a simple lockpicking mini game, granting access to shortcuts, loot, and money. You’ll need to constantly resupply due to the lockpick being a breakable item. But where exactly do you get lockpicks from? There are a few options.
You can purchase lockpicks from general traders for 30 coins each and with money being as scarce as it is in Kingdom Come Deliverance, you’ll want to take care with each one used. Lockpicks are given to the player during The Good Thief quest. The quest is started by talking to Miller Peshek at Rattay Mill and involves a tutorial on the game’s lockpicking mechanics before the player receives a few to make use of. Upon completion, players can then purchase lockpicks from either Miller Peshek or Milley Woyzeck, who is met at the end of the quest.
From then on it’s just a matter of mastering the lockpicking system, so be sure to check out our lockpicking guide here.
