Heed the Call of the Wild With Shelter Generations on Nintendo Switch

Looking to get closer to nature? Might and Delight’s Shelter 2 and Paws: A Shelter 2 Game is coming to Switch via the Nintendo eShop this March via Circle Entertainment as the combined package Shelter Generations. This digital collection delivers two unique experiences based on the call of the wild.

Shelter 2 is the first game in the package, complete with its Mountains DLC expansion. You’ll follow the life cycle of a mother lynx who needs to make sure her cubs are fighting fit and ready for their own journey out in the world. You need to raise them up through adulthood, ensuring they’re fed, given water, and eventually self-sufficient. It’s a story that can change each time you play with different happenings that crop up each time you head back into the game.

Paws: A Shelter 2 Game is an additional standalone game within the same world as Shelter, and you need to survive as a cub rather than the mother lynx shepherding her young to survive out in the real world.

Shelter Generations comes with soundtracks for both games, as well as “living book” experiences that will help open the world further for you to explore. There’s a lot here for fans (and newbies) to the series, and it couldn’t land on a better console.
