Dynasty Warriors 9: Can You Change Languages? (Japanese or English Dub?)

Can You Change the Language in Dynasty Warriors 9 From English to Japanese?

Recommended Videos

Dynasty Warriors 9 finally brings back the English dubbing that players might have been missing if they were missing all the action while reading a bunch of subtitles all the time. However, let’s say you’re a fan of the Japanese voiceovers, can you bring them back?

Unfortunately, that’s not an option anywhere in the settings menu. You’re stuck with the English voice cast this time around. You can remove or add subtitles, but other than that, there’s not much else customization that you can do. Dynasty Warriors 9 as a whole lacks a lot of customization even on PC, really. There’s no telling if the developers will one day patch in this option.

That being said, it is a whole lot better to be able to tell what’s going on if you’re not a native Japanese speaker. There’s a ton happening on screen, and having yet another thing to look out for (subtitles) would be too much to deter people from the action.

That’s all there is to this, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If you need any more help with Dynasty Warriors 9, though, leave a comment down below and we’ll do our best to help you out.
