Don’t Sleep on BioMutant’s New Action-Packed Gameplay Teaser

BioMutant, e3

Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic’s newest action adventure game BioMutant got a new gameplay teaser today showcasing some of the action that people can expect when the title launches sometime this year. Indeed, combat, climbing, vehicles, and more were showcased in the latest video, though RPG elements like character customization and damage points can be gleaned upon close inspection.

The trailer begins by evidencing some of the playable character’s dangerous moves in a close corridor. It then opens up to exhibit the scope of the title’s open world environments, as well as some of the mechanics players will be able to utilize in-game. These include climbable walls and mushroom launchers. It also appears that a hand that shoots lasers out of its index finger will be able to be controlled.

Another cool element about the game that’s shown off is the appearance of comic book-style words popping up when certain dynamic actions are performed, like firing from guns and bouncing into the air. Towards the end of the video, we’re all treated to a glimpse of a mech that will appear in the game, which is awesome on its own right and deserves no further explanation.

BioMutant will launch sometime in 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the teaser for yourself below:
