Best Xbox One Headsets for 2018
KOTION Each G2000
The cheapest option on this list, at little more than $25, is the KOTION Each G2000. However, just because it is cheap, it doesn’t mean it is significantly worse than the more expensive options. You tend to pay for bells and whistles, such as surround sound or super comfortable cushions, but budget options are more than serviceable. You will need to pick up an adapter to use it with your Xbox One, as you do with most wired headsets, but they’re not expensive. Due to the large size of the headset, the ear-cups entirely cover your ears, making for a comfortable experience, even when playing for an extended period of time. The sound is loud and punchy, and of a higher quality than most other budget options. If your looking for a headset to pick up quickly so that you can play games with your friends, the KOTION Each G2000 would be a great choice.
HyperX Cloud II
The HyperX Cloud headset may not be the cheapest option, but it has a few more features that aren’t present on other under $100 choices. Combining a great looking and lightweight design with good quality sound from noise isolating ear cups, it offers a lot of what far more luxury headsets do. The microphone is detachable, it is 53mm capable, and it even comes with a second set of ear cushions. It might not be the best option for those on really tight restrictions, but at $80, those will a more flexible budget shouldn’t look much further.
