What Diablos Weakness Is in Monster Hunter World

Recommended Videos

Monster Hunter World is home to different and deadly creatures that will utterly destroy players who are unprepared for the hunt. One creature, the Diablos, is a ferocious monster that will mow players down with its large horns and sweep them with its forked tail. It also has the ability to burrow underground and catch unsuspecting hunters off guard, making for a difficult hunt.

While it’s easy to get overwhelmed with its many tricks and devastating attacks, the Diablos does have its weaknesses. The first thing players should note is that it is weak against Ice, so make sure to bring any weapons that share the said element. Another thing to note is that the Diablos is also susceptible to paralysis in Monster Hunter World, providing the chance for a few free hits.

When actually fighting the monster, try targetting its weak points: the head, chest, and wings. Aim for the horns, back, and tail if you want to sever its parts. If you are having trouble blocking its attacks, on the other hand, try attacking the creature from underneath instead.

The Diablos will put up a tough fight, but as long as you come prepared, you should be able to take it down. For any other Monster Hunter World tips and tricks, make sure to check out our nifty wiki!
