HOW TO BEAT ANJANATH EASILY IN MONSTER HUNTER WORLD

Recommended Videos

It can be quite challenging and intimidating to go face-to-face with an unknown monster in Monster Hunter World. Having no idea what its weaknesses and strengths are means that you have to just go with the flow and basically just guess until you gather more information on the beasts. If you’re having trouble beating the Anjanath in the Ancient Forest or in the Wildspire Waste, don’t worry, we have some tips and that will ensure your victory against the belligerent beast.

The biggest thing to worry about when going up against an Anjanath is its fire-based attacks. It spits fire using an organ inside of its throat which you can destroy by attacking its throat continuously. That will keep you safe from its fiery breath; just be sure to equip some armor that has high fire resistance – you’ll need it. When it comes to its weaknesses, try to bring a weapon with some water elements, if you can’t get to a weapon that has water power, then you can also go for an Anjanath’s lesser weaknesses: thunder and ice. The Anjanath is also pretty susceptible to most ailments like poison, sleep, and paralysis, so you can use those to your advantage in Monster Hunter World as well.

When actually going up against the Anjanath, try to keep yourself a good distance away – not too close, but also not too far. The farther you get away, the more likely it is for the Anjanath to do a charge and leap attack, which it will do often and can cause some major damage, leaving you open for a deadly fire attack. You want to aim for its legs as much as you can, so get in and do some damage and roll away before it can hit you. You also want to be aware of its 180-degree fire attack than can easily send you back to camp before you realize it. If you keep a safe distance away, you should be able to roll or run out of the way in time and do some damage while the Anjanath’s breathing fire. Just keep going for the legs and avoiding the fire attacks and it’ll be knocked out in no time.

That’s all you need to know about beating Anjanath. For more Monster Hunter World tips, make sure to check out our wiki guide on the game.
