How to Recover in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Recommended Videos

Unless you’re an immensely skilled player, or your opponent is rather useless, then you’re bound to take damage during fights in Dragon Ball FighterZ. However, how you react to those hits and the loss of health is important to turning the tides and ending the fight on top. Knowing how to recover successfully is vital to staying competitive in the fight.

To perform a recover in Dragon Ball FighterZ, press Square, Triangle, or Circle if you’re playing on PlayStation 4, or X, Y, or B if you’re playing on Xbox One, while taking damage in mid-air. You can perform the recovery in any direction to help you stay away from the opponent and their attacks.

Timing a recovery perfectly will allow your character to avoid onslaughts from the opposing player, ensuring that they do not dominate you in the fight. A well-timed button press will see your character dash away from the other player’s character and into the attack stance so that you can continue the fight quickly.

That is all you need to know about how to recover in Dragon Ball FighterZ. For more on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
