Dissidia Final Fantasy NT: How to Dash Cancel

How to Dash Cancel in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

Recommended Videos

The ability to dash cancel is an important one in any fighting game out there, and it’s especially true when it comes to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. Dash canceling opens the player up to more combo opportunities and the chance to inflict more damage onto an opponent by inserting a dash move towards the enemy instead of letting a special attack complete itself.

To perform a dash cancel and potentially inflict some devastating damage onto your opponent in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, hit R1 just as you are done chaining a sequence of X attacks together. The best way to take advantage of this maneuver is to do this just as you are finished launching an opponent into the air. As soon as the attack animation starts and the enemy is flying, press on R1 to dash up to them and inflict more damage while in mid-air.

Given the chaotic battles that ensue in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, knowing how to dash cancel comes in handy when considering how little room there may be to chain attacks mid-battle. It’s an especially useful technique to learn if you’ve experienced a hard time with projectile and magic-based enemies recently, as it allows you to close the distance and get a few more swipes in before an onslaught of explosions comes at you once more.

That’s all you need to know to dash cancel in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. For more information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
