Xbox One February 2018 Video Game Releases

Though in the past couple of years we’ve seen more and more developers opting to release their titles during the early winter months of January and February, they’re normally fairly quiet in comparison to the peak holiday months that came before them. February 2018 may not be the most stacked month for Xbox One releases we’ve seen so far, but it still has a number of titles that pique your interest.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is certainly a game you’ll want to keep your eye on. This is the first entry in the series that follows the current open world trend. Players will still take on thousands of enemies with twirling, wide-reaching badass attacks, but will have more freedom in between brawls to explore every nook and cranny of the world.

A week later, the Xbox One will also see the release of Konami’s Metal Gear Survive. While we found it difficult to overlook the tenuous links to the Metal Gear world, it’s a fairly enjoyable and deep zombie survival title all the same. Just be prepared for a messy UI experience if you do jump in.

In terms of smaller indie titles to keep you occupied on your Xbox One, the critically-acclaimed indie Owlboy will finally hit Microsoft’s system, and will be followed a few days later by EA’s intriguing title, Fe. In this latter title, players are dropped into a gorgeous, Nordic forest at night and are free to uncover the many side quests, secrets, and mystical creatures lurking within.
