Starting the Champions’ Ballad DLC in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

The second DLC pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Champions’ Ballad, is finally available for all players who have purchased the expansion pass. However, actually starting the new story quests of the DLC isn’t as simple as merely booting up a new game.

In order to start the DLC quests, you need to have cleared all four Divine Beasts in Hyrule. Additionally, you also need to complete the story quests related to the Divine Beasts themselves. For instance, you need to visit Zora’s Domain and clear the quest line with Prince Sidon and the Zora, in addition to finishing the elephant Divine Beast dungeon.

Once you’ve completed all of the associated quests to all four Divine Beasts, Zelda will speak to you and ask you to return to the Shrine of Resurrection. This is where Link first started out on his adventure, and it can be found on the Great Plateau. Simply head back there and present your Sheikah Slate to the terminal, and you’ll be able to check out the new story content.

That’s all you need to know about starting the Champions’ Ballad DLC. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
