How to Get Poppi’s Final Form in Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 offers plenty of sidequests that reward players with some useful items, gold, and experience points when completed. There are even a handful of special missions that unlock certain blades which you can use in combat. That said, players can take on one special side quest that unlocks Poppi’s third and final form.
Take note that you need to be in chapter 8 before you can take up the quest. To initiate it, travel over to the Fonsett Village Arch in the Leftherian Archipelago and view a special Heart-to-Heart event involving Tora, Pyra, and Poppi. Once that’s done, travel back to Tora’s house and talk to Tatazo to receive the “Powered-Up Poppi” quest.
The first thing you have to do for this Xenoblade Chronicles 2 quest is to salvage ten Golden Cogs in Temperantia. Bring a few Golden Cylinders with you to Battlescar Cove under the Peninsula and you should have a full set of cogs in around three to four tries. Once you get back to Tora’s house, Lila will ask you to find certain items for Poppi’s new dress: Cubic Diamond, Ambler Stigma, Genbu-Weave Cloth. You can buy the cloth at Tantal and farm Cubic Diamonds in salvage points near the Ruined Laborers’ Bridge at Mor Ardain. Ambler Stigmas, on the other hand, can be farmed at the salvage point directly below Great Wall Tunnel No. 8 at the Land of Morytha.
After bringing the materials back to Lila, you will have to head over to the Argentum Trade Guild and speak to Fleecyflossy for some school lessons. There are four periods in her class, each with different requirements to proceed:
- Period 1: Requires Lv. 5 Forestry
- Period 2: Pick Kalukalu and Beltran
- Period 3: Requires Lv. 3 Ancient Wisdom
- Period 4: Defeat Torl Marring at the Goldmouth Flight Deck
Upon arriving back at Tora’s house, you will have to power the charging device to activate Poppi’s final form. It’s best to send out your Mercenary Group to hunt for a 50 Volt Battery as every other item will only charge the device by one percent. Each mission is 30 minutes and you need roughly around three to four battery packs to power the charging device. Once that’s done, you will finally unlock Poppi’s Final Form (QTπ) in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
