Announced by Aqua Style, Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on Dec. 21. This will be a digital release that can be bought through the eShop. The only drawback? It’s currently only going to be available in Japan.
Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded is an updated version of the original RPG Touhou Genso Wanderer that had only made the PS4 and PS Vita its home in 2016. However, it was noted that the few updates that did take place mainly addressed technical differences between the Sony consoles and the Switch, leaving the game and story untouched.
But, although those who may be picking up the title on their Nintendo systems will be losing trophies, Aqua Style has something to sweeten the deal. Switch users will be getting a new playable character for free. Tenshi Hinanawi will be available for download on Jan. 10 of 2018.
Aqua Style may also be bringing Tenshi Hinanawi to the PlayStation version of the game, but is currently looking into if they will be able to or not. If they are able too, Sony gamers could expect to pick her up in early 2018.
Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded is a roguelike RPG. It can currently be played, under the title Touhou Genso Wanderer, on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
There is currently no Switch release window for the US and EU.
