The Best Co-op Games of 2017

destiny 2, leviathan

Destiny 2 launches early this fall, and while it still has some work to do, especially on the competitive side of things, its co-op experience is still among the best in the business.

Destiny 2’s raid on the Leviathan is an unmatched experience, especially in the realm of FPSs. More so than any other raid Bungie has put together to-date, Destiny 2’s first requires extreme levels of team coordination in each phase leading up to the final battle with Calus. Just one weak link in your fireteam and you could be in for hours of frustration. As a result, finally clearing the raid is among the most satisfying gameplay experiences this year.

Lump that in with Destiny 2’s standard co-op content, such as its Strikes, story/adventure content, and an improved focus on general exploration, and Destiny 2 is worthy of its title of the Best Co-op Game of 2017.
