PUBG Xbox One: How to Crouch

How to Crouch in PUBG on Xbox One

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, better known as PUBG, has finally arrived on Xbox One. The incredibly popular multiplayer online battle royale game forces players to use every tool they have in order to attain victory. You’ll want to utilize stealthy tactics, implement team strategies, get your hands on the best weapons, and, of course, be ready to crouch when the bullets really start flying.

In a game like PUBG, being able to take cover is absolutely essential. With skilled snipers in the field with you, keeping your head up for too long is pretty much a PSA that you’re looking for trouble and underestimating the enemy. Even if you don’t see any other players in sight, you’ll want to make taking cover a habitual practice.

If you want to take cover though, you’ll first have to know how to crouch. If you’re playing PUBG on Xbox One rather than PC, you’ll just want to tap B to crouch. Keep in mind that on Xbox One, many of the buttons have a dual purpose. Pressing the button triggers one action while holding it triggers another. Pressing B will allow you to crouch but holding B will make your character lie prone to the ground. This is another useful tactic you will want to take advantage of in every match. Just make sure you aren’t mixing up the inputs and going prone when you really wanted to opt for a crouch instead. Simple mistakes in PUBG are all it takes to see an early end to your game.
