5 Things We Can’t Wait to Do in Far Cry 5

We’ve flown through the skies in Far Cry games before, but Far Cry 5 decided to take things one step further. Not only do you have Nick Rye in his plane providing ‘Death From Above’ as one of your ‘For Hire’ options, but you’ll also be able to hop into the cockpit yourself and rain down some serious pain on those cultists.

During our time with the game at E3, the aerial dogfights felt like a real breath of fresh air. Not just related to what we played in the short demo, but to the series as a whole. Looping around in the skies, charging after enemy aircraft, and watching them crash and burn over the country terrain of Montana is incredibly satisfying. It’s also a viable option for taking down masses of ground units and vehicles, making you feel like some all-powerful plane-piloting maniac.
