Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy Series Is Winding Down With Its Fifth Episode

Time for the final song to play.

Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy adventure game series has been an exciting alternate look at the popular Marvel characters, but now it’s drawing to a close. The fifth and final episode is launching on Nov. 7 as an individual purchase or as part of the Season Pass Disc.

The last episode is called “Don’t Stop Believin,” just like the Journey track of the same name, and it follows the last episode’s (spoiler-laden) ending where the Guardians are seemingly breaking up. As the heroes make their way to Nowhere, Star-Lord has to get the band back together, so to speak, and load up to go save the galaxy again, forever this time.

The latest episode caps the end of what’s been a pretty awesome option for anyone who couldn’t get enough of the movies and comic series, and while it’s riding high on adrenaline most of the time, it also packs an emotional punch here and there when you least expect it, like with Rocket and some of his past.

You can pick up the Season Pass disc right now to play the entire season for $29.99, or you can pick the individual episode “Don’t Stop Believin’” on Nov. 7. If you haven’t yet started a play through, now’s as good of a time as any.
