Tekken 7 Adds Noctis from Final Fantasy XV as a Playable Character

Final Fantasy XV, Tekken 7

Royal rumble.

Tekken 7 is still in full gear as Bandai Namco continues to add new content to the game. This time, they revealed Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV as a new playable character via DLC.

The prince of Lucis joins the fight wielding his iconic Engine Blade, alongside other weapons, taking down enemies with powerful sword strikes and blows. There also seems to be a new Tekken 7 map based on the Final Fantasy XV gas station. From the trailer, it seems like Noctis’ bros and Cindy will also be making an appearance on the stage.

The prince’s inclusion in the fighting game marks the first time a Final Fantasy character is playable in the Tekken series. However, this isn’t the first fighting game Noctis is in. He will also be a playable character in the upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy NT crossover game releasing early next year.

Bandai Namco will be adding Noctis in Tekken 7 this coming Spring 2018. You can also play as him in Final Fantasy XV for the PS4 and Xbox One. Watch his trailer below to learn more:
