Star Wars Battlefront 2 is hitting shelves this week and fans of the legendary sci-fi franchise can rejoice in once again taking up arms, and fighting alongside the series’ most legendary heroes. Microtransactions aside, we did enjoy the meat and potatoes of what Battlefront 2 is bringing to the table.

PlayStation 4 Pro owners in particular might be wondering if the game will be enhanced by their powerful new console. The good news for owners is yes, Star Wars Battlefront 2 will take advantage of the PS4 Pro. The game will receive noticeable improvements on the PS4 Pro, including running at a higher resolution than just the regular PS4. Considering the game, even without being PS4 Pro, is very pretty, if you’re rocking a 4K TV you’re going to be in for a real feast for the eyes.

Also, if you’re so inclined, and don’t have a PS4 Pro yet, there is a pretty sweet looking limited edition bundle that you can nab if that’s your thing. It would make a great gift for either yourself or another fan of the series.

That does it for whether or not Star Wars Battlefront 2 is PlayStation 4 Pro compatible. Make sure to check out our wiki for more on Star Wars Battlefront 2.
