South Park: Phone Destroyer, announced at Ubisoft’s E3 conference last June, is now available to download for iOS and Android devices.
The free-to-play title is a role-playing card battle game with over 80 cards to collect and upgrade. It features a 60 stage campaign with a single-player story “written in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios.” The game also offers real-time multiplayer battles and a clan system to share cards with other teammates.
Like the previous South Park games, South Park: The Stick of Truth and recently released South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the story places the player as the new kid in town in a make-believe war between multiple factions. This time is cowboys and Indians, but other costumed kids such as wizards and cyborgs join the fight as well. Ubisoft has released a launch trailer below, briefly explaining the story alongside a few gameplay clips.
