How to Change Furniture Color in The Sims 4 on PS4 and Xbox One

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4 for PS4 and Xbox One means more players will be able to experience it on their home consoles. With this change, though, comes a whole lot of different controls to need to learn. Even veteran PC players will be questioning this stuff. Some things stay the same, though. So, here’s how to change the color of furniture that’s already been placed within The Sims 4.

When you’re buying new furniture, you’ll be given a selection of different colors before you select one and place it. However, if you find you no longer like the color you chose once it’s out on the ground, or you’re just looking for a change in general, here’s what to do. You need to make sure you’re in Build & Buy mode, first. Once you are, hit the Color Swatches icon that’s found on the middle at the top of your screen. It looks like a bundle of rectangles, all stacked up in a fan kind of way. With this tool, you simply need to hover over a placed furniture and select a whole new color scheme.

That’s all there is to changing the color of furniture in The Sims 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. If you need any more help with the game, be sure to let us know in the comments below and we’ll do our best to help you!
