Chicken dinners on the go are still just as tasty.
Talk about a winner winner, chicken dinner for mobile users. It looks like Tencent’s powerhouse battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds could very well be going mobile, if news from the company’s QQ social platform is to be believed.
The company is reportedly working on a mobile version of the game in tandem with Bluehole, but there are few details surrounding what could be in the works at this time. The news doesn’t mention what platform the alleged title could come to, nor if it might share the same server information as the regular game, but the fact that a mobile version may well be coming is big news for the massively popular game indeed.
We’ve reached out to Bluehole for clarification on the matter and will update this post accordingly with information as to whether or not a mobile port of the ridiculously successful battle royale title is indeed coming. As far as the regular game goes, it’s still available on Steam via Early Access, and an official launch is scheduled for late December, with a port coming to Xbox One on Dec. 12.
