Soar through the skies with Owlboy.
D-Pad Studios’ quirky platforming adventure game Owlboy is getting a physical edition, thanks to Soedesco. There haven’t been specific platforms announced for the physical release just yet, but the announcement was just made via the comapny today.
Previously, Owlboy was released on PC, with an impending Nintendo Switch release coming soon, but it’s without a concrete date as well. So while we can say with certainty a physical release and Switch version is coming, we don’t know when or for which platforms specifically. It’s still good news! Hopefully an update to that end is coming down the pipeline soon.
Owlboy isn’t a game you’ll want to sleep on if you haven’t already played it. You can take to the skies and see what awaits you in the clouds as you take on the role of the character Otus, who’s having a little difficulty being the best owl he can be. It features gorgeous pixelated art with both flight segments and platforming areas as well. Looking for something a little more unique and nuanced? Owlboy is worth checking out.
