Horizon Zero Dawn’s DLC, The Frozen Wilds, has finally arrived for PS4 players to dive into. Taking Aloy up to the frozen Banuk territory known as The Cut, players will take on new machines, make their way through a new storyline involving the quest, and gain access to new weapons, gear, and collectibles, too. As such, many players are likely wondering exactly how long The Frozen Wilds is and how many quests there are.

During our time with The Frozen Wilds, we clocked in at about 12 hours. This included completing a bunch of the side quests on offer, as well as the fairly short story quests. There are five story quests in total to complete, with some requiring you to complete a ton of steps, while others are fairly short.

As such, the amount of time you spend in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds depends on how intent you are on seeing everything it has to offer. Those wanting to pick out every collectible, grab every new weapon, and complete every quest on offer will likely squeeze out 15-20 hours. Those who aren’t about the completionist lifestyle will likely get about 10-13 hours.

And that’s all you need to know about the length and number of quests in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki for more on the base game and expansion.
