Assassin’s Creed Origins has been out for just under a week and it’s already received a fairly hefty update. Update 1.03 weighs in at 1.5 GB on PS4 and 1.8 GB on Xbox One and, as such, many players may be wondering exactly what it changes in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Update 1.03 makes a number of fixes to Assassin’s Creed Origins, but also adds in some fun new features for players to check out, too. Most notably, players will be able to mess around with some new Photo mode effects. You can check out the full patch notes for update 1.03 here.

One of the main areas of improvement with this update is the general performance of the game. Players are already reporting over on Reddit that cutscenes run smoother and that there are fewer glitches in general. The update also adds HDR support, although some players are reporting that colors seem really blown out on the PS4.

As you can see, there are a ton of improvements and fixes made in update 1.03. Hopefully, many players will enjoy a much smoother gameplay experience once they’ve installed the update.
